The CooperTown Cafe

About The CooperTown Cafe
Mississippi blues and great ole’ & rsquo; comfort food simply seem to go hand-in-hand. They certainly go well with each other at Coopertown Café, a restaurant located in Hattiesburg, run by indigenous Brookhaven siblings, Cameron and Doyce Cleckler. “& ldquo; We originate from a cooking household,” & rdquo; said owner, Cameron Cleckler. Their grandparents, Houston and Gladys Jordan, opened up The 84 Dairy Twist in the 1960s. Not only are the food and music southerly, but the décor is, also. Each tabletop displays a theme, whether it be “& ldquo; Selected the Wind” & rdquo; or & ldquo; Southern Miss. & rdquo; Camp Shelby is additionally stood for. “& ldquo; Every table top is an original that we made ourselves,” & rdquo; said C. Cleckler. The café has a casual feeling. The owner defined the environment as “& ldquo; very laid back & rdquo; – and & ldquo; laid-back dining & rdquo;-- the ideal atmosphere for the smooth, velvety blues. A quote in the vibrant Coopertown Café food selection reviews, “& ldquo; Food performed with love by people that love food.” & rdquo;
